Treat yourself to our luxury Mordros Sweater Knit Kit and craft your own lightweight wardrobe classic. Suitable for all levels of knitter from confident beginner upwards.

Mordros is a Cornish word meaning ‘the sound of the sea’. This sweater will be your favourite to wear over a camisole for an extra layer when you’re on holiday or at a summer evening barbeque.

Our timeless Mordros Sweater design is knitted using simple stocking stitch with naturally-rolling hems and cuffs.

You will knit the design from the bottom up, working the back and front pieces first. You will seam the shoulders, then pick up and knit the neckline edging. You will pick up the sleeve stitches and knit the sleeves from the top down to the cuffs. Once finished, simply seam the arm and side with mattress stitch, and block to the full size.

The Mordros Sweater Knit Kit includes our Lace Egyptian yarn, which is beautifully soft and lightweight. Although the yarn is fine, the sweater is knitted on 4.5mm knitting needles, giving an airy finish.

The kit includes:

• printed pattern with full written instructions for size 32″ – 62″ bust
• luxury hand-dyed baby alpaca, linen and silk yarn

You will also need a set of 4.5mm straight knitting needles (not included).
