4ply Fleck – Lost Gardens: 100gram skeins of soft 4ply merino wool yarn with dark donegal neps, hand-dyed in the Lost Gardens colourway, inspired by sun-drenched floral views at the Lost Gardens of Heligan, here in Cornwall.

A soft but durable yarn, 4ply Fleck is suitable for next-to-skin knitting and crochet projects such as shawls, hats, socks, etc. Use one skein to knit our Triangle Trellis Shawl or Lacy Heart Shawl shown.

Merino is the softest wool yarn available, and is excellent at regulating body temperature, especially when worn against the skin.
The donegal neps are small clusters of fibres spun into the base yarn when it is produced. They resist the dyes and add texture and visual interest to the finished yarn.
