Description

An easy knitting pattern for the beautiful Lacy Heart Shawl, using just one 100gram skein of any 4ply yarn. The sample shown is knitted using 100g 4ply Bright yarn in colourway Sandy Toes.

I originally designed the Lacy Heart Shawl as I was asked for a shawl that was knitted but looked like crochet. Visitors to yarn shows that I display this design at often think it is crocheted rather than knitted, so I must have fitted the brief!

The shawl is knitted back and forth on a long circular needle, as there are a lot of stitches to fit on the needle when it comes to casting off.

The full colour printed pattern is sent by post on 1 sheet of A4 paper. Alternatively you can purchase and instantly download the pattern in pdf format from Etsy, LoveCrafts, or Ravelry.

The Lacy Heart Shawl knitting pattern includes full written instructions in English. It is worked from the top centre downwards, increasing at the centre and edges in pattern, as written. The design is suitable for intermediate skill knitters upwards.

Blocking is recommended after knitting, which will open out the stitch pattern and maximise the shawl size.
