Chunky Merino – Precious Metals: a bouncy pure merino chunky weight wool in a fabulous colourway of silver grey and golden yellow, inspired by my favourite necklace! I hand-dye these yarns in my dedicated home dye studio near the coast of Perranporth in Cornwall.

Chunky Merino is the perfect yarn to use for accessories and garments to keep you cosy during the cooler seasons. This pure merino feels beautifully soft and warm against the skin, which makes it ideal for cowls, scarves, and mitts.

This yarn will work with all knitting and crochet patterns designed for a standard chunky weight wool yarn. Try our free Simple Ribbed Collar knitting pattern, or our Chunky Chevron Cowl or Droskyn Mitts crochet patterns.
