Description

The Penhale Shawl (aka Light and Lacy Shawl) crochet kit is easy to make and includes the pattern with our luxury hand dyed yarn. It’s ideal for any crocheter who has mastered the basic crochet stitches.

The design is worked using a simple pattern repeat that is easy to crochet and memorise using a 3.5mm crochet hook (not included). It requires just 100 grams of laceweight yarn, included in the kit.

The pattern is worked from one corner upwards, keeping one side straight and increasing on the other. Once finished, simply sew in the ends and block; this will open out the design to its finished size and beauty.

There are 2 choices of yarn available, both deliciously soft with fabulous drape:

• Lace Egyptian – 50% Baby Alpaca, 25% Linen, 25% Silk – a 3ply soft matte yarn with a lovely feel – for a smaller shawl
• Lace Tranquil – 50% Silk, 50% Baby Camel – a 2ply luxury yarn, as soft as butter – for a larger, more open shawl
